That’s like saying people who are working in FS by their choice is a kick in the guts to someone who is being trafficked…. No trafficking is not right, and should not be a thing at all. However, SW is the oldest job in the book and if someone chooses to do such work as a job, it shouldn’t not be looked upon badly. To be able to choose to work in such an industry is incredible and lucky. The money factor, but also the freedom, not having to work for someone else and on other people’s schedule. The work life balance is a privilege… others are in horrible situations and may be working against their will. But for those who have chosen this career, we should not be made to feel guilty.
