Choose one thing from the list and implement it on your next hook Your hook is the most important part of your content If you can’t draw someone in, then they’re not consuming the rest of your content which means they’re not hitting the follow or checkout button So many amazing pieces of content go unsee everyday because the hook doesn’t capture attention But that’s not going to be you after you implement these tips! ↓ 1- Avoid having all text all caps: emphasize certain words with caps but don’t use all caps for all of the text, it’s harder to read 2- Use exact client language as the hook: go to your DMs, comments, Q&A boxes, forms, and literally copy and paste what your clients have shared about their problems or questions they have & use it as a hook (my number 1 hook tip) 3- Focus on what your audience wants, not just what you’re teaching: Position your hook based on your audience’s desires. Example: Instead of “how to sell in reels,” try “want to make sales without posting daily?” 4- Test your hooks: I did this earlier this week with 2 reels (see my reels tab). Post two reels at the same time that are the same minus the hook so you can see which hook attracts more attention — use that data to create better hooks in the future 5- Use urgency driving words: these are words like “instantly”, “less than 30 min a day”, “today”, “right now” 6- Be clear on the outcome: People want to know what they’ll get. When your hook is outcome-focused, it shows the tangible benefit they’ll receive. Instead of “5 tips to create great content”, try “Turn viewers into buyers with this simple CTA” 7- Ditch the clickbait: people can smell it from miles away 8- Use chat gpt to decide on a hook: I love feeding Chat GPT 3 variations of a hook, telling it my niche + ICA, and asking it which it thinks would be most enticing and stand out to my ICA [COMMENT “150” FOR 150 HOOK IDEAS] IGU STUDENTS!!
