@itsbreellis: Beneficial Nematodes is something Ive been using in my garden since 2021! Im big on beneficial insects and letting your eco system balance out! I have loved using these over the years to help with pests such as: grubs, ants, cucumber beetles, and many more! Beneficial nematodes are a organic pest control method. These beneficial insects are microscopic worms found in soil and target things larvae, grubs, nymphs, and pupae of pest insects. These are technailly parasitic, but dont worry! Studies have shown their bacteria cant develop in vertebrates making it a safe method for you and pests! I like to apply in the spring once the soil averages between 50-80f. This temperature makes sure they stay effective. If you have dandelions growing your soil is probably warm enough to do a application! The morning, evening, or cloudy day is best for application because of the cooler temps and lower UV helping the nematodes adapt easier. I personally use my battery powered sprayer. Using a sprayer is the more difficult route because you need to know what psi it sprays at and what the diameter of the sorter nozzle is. Ive read you want your sprayer to have a psi of 72 or lower and the diameter of the nozzle needs to be at least 0.8mm - lucky for me my sprayer and nozzle are in that range. If your unsure you can just use a watering can. Theres a lot of information about application rates so Id check up on that for your needs. I will be mixing mine with 4 gallons of water and sprayer the garden backyard and soils. Do they help with all pests? No, but they do help the tricky soil pests! Grubs can eat at your roots causing stress to your plants! This was a big problem for me years ago! For other pests, I simply pick them off and I tend to not have to many issues. I had more issues as the garden was becoming established. Have you used beneficial nematodes in your garden before? #beneficalnematodes #organicpestcontrol #organicgarden #backyardhomestead #backyardgarden

I have watched your content for a long time now!! I’m curious if you have thought about doing a square foot method style of garden beds? That’s what I am doing this year!
