I was literally just at Hastings and east Van Hastings and east Van are the worst parts of van East Van you never wanna go to, I was there for only an hour and someone got stabbed and I was only on the out skerts of it.

In northern BC back in the 90s, if we ever had to go to Vancouver, our parents would drive us down East Hastings and say if you do drugs, this is what will happen. Then it became all of Vancouver. Sad

I've walked those streets and no one bothers you. I had one woman come up to me and talk to me and I gave her some change. They are people in a city with no affordable housing options.
