I'd rather take the engine out to do that wet belt rather than remove all that motor underneath to get at the sump 🤔

Wouldn’t be given a Ecoboom for this reason alone. The US will pay out if the belt pack in and shafts your engine. The UK/Europe ford wanna charge you for a full engine and say they’re unaware

that's shocking. if these belts are realistically lasting 50k miles then you need to add 10pence per mile for the timing belt - nearly as much as the fuel cost.
