I adore astarion so much because I see so much of myself in him. The hatred and bitterness that can come with trauma can really break a person. Neil gave him life and I’m so thankful and grateful.

y'know, I never used astarion because people on the internet wouldn't stop riding him, but when I actually had him as a permanent party member, not to romance (I usually choose one every playthrough) his story is so well crafted, and sad. And I will never see him the same again, but I have a respect for astarion's character.

I met him and was just so shy, didn’t have the courage to tell him what astarion meant to me- he just knew- he rounded the table and hugged me. I have his signature/note by my desk for courage now!
