Hey Laura, I have a question,
I made a wild lettuce tincture and out it back in the cupboard in my laundry room and forgot about it for two years. should I throw it out? its sitting in vodka. in a Mason jar with a lid and ring so it's probably sealed.

The problem is common names differ by region. The internet is helping that. In my area milkweed was called butterfly weed and wild lettuce was called milkweed, and most don’t care for Latin
