Fluoride binds to the iodine receptors in the thyroid gland and can lead to metabolic problems. You can get it in your toothpaste if you want it, but it’s not a good idea to flouridize water.

Correlation doesn't equal causality. There is less sugar in gum/candy than 7yrs ago. Does that mean Not having sugar causes tooth decay? 7yrs ago kids were on their phones five x less = tooth decay.

I grew up without fluoridated water, Dentists can always spot those of us that grew up in Salt Lake City. 😭😭😭 Many root canals.

Fluoride can cause dental/skeletal fluorosis, may affect brain & thyroid, and some see it as forced meds. Benefits today are debated. Source: Lancet Neurology, WHO, EPA.
