My merena is due to come out im 52 and still get regular period my question is does the marena help with peri menopause symptoms? Am i still getting my period becoz i have one in? At 52 should i get a new one put in to help me thru perimenopause? Can u do a post on merena IUDs for peri menopause women pls❤️

This is exactly what is happening to me! I’m on .5 estrogen and 100 mg of progesterone. My OBGYN suggested I go up to 200mg of progesterone. Do you agree? I’m tired of bleeding all the time!

Talking progesterone/estradiol post menopause 15 years. now I have period so I upped progesterone... then pharmacy ran out of estradiol kept taking progesterone.... pharmacy ran out now full blown period

Mirena was a life saver for me. I was haemorrhaging to extreme. I can't even exaggerate. I always had heavy periods, but in my 40s it went up 10 levels. The Mirena helped me have 'normal' flow.

This happened to me when I was on 1mg estrogen patch and 200mg of progesterone I had full periods every 15 days and I was always crampy….went down to .50mg estrogen and 100 progesterone it’s been 3 months and no bleeding since the changed dose! Problem solved!
