you used the wrong blade. a blade to cut metal has very tiny teeth on it. that looks like a general blade to cut wood or like pvc or something.

Use a grinder with a cutoff blade to start the cut first (if you have one) then use the zaw zaw to finish the cut. Itll make it 100% easier and if you have a hoist to get it up higher.
