It’s my daily style. I get stopped by older people all the time to tell my that their mom/ gran wore braids like mine. My dad gave me his gran’s crystal box that held the pins she used for braids ❤️

I wasn't talented enough for those braids so I just wrapped my hair up in a scarf 24/7 when my hair was that long. ppl never saw my hair so it was a waste eventually lol.

side note - I have the same length hair and struggles… ponytail, then tie it in a literal knot, then wrap the tails around the knot and put a spiral hairband around it all. stays tight for hours 😁
