This week was an answer to prayers. PRAISE GOD. 🙌🏼 We went to MidSouth ENT for Char, who’s had an ear infection for a month. We’ve been to the Little Clinic three times (which we’ve loved), and they finally recommended we see an ENT. Char has been on three different antibiotics with no real improvement. They got us in quickly, and I’m so thankful. After checking her ears and doing an X-ray, they found that her adenoids are blocking 75% of her airway, and her tonsils are a 3 out of 4. The ENT immediately recommended surgery to have her tonsils and adenoids removed. They said this could explain so much of what we’ve been experiencing: her behavior, dark circles under her eyes, bedwetting, ear infections, constant sickness, and allergies. I cried on the way home. Not out of fear, but relief. This was truly an answer to prayer. My mama heart has known deep down that something else was going on. I even looked into sleep apnea so many times, but never followed through. I wish I had done more sooner, but I also know God works all things together for good. And He made a way to bring us the answers we’ve been asking for. As we walked out of the doctor’s office, we saw a butterfly on some flowers. It basically let Char touch it. In that moment, I just felt my mom smiling. It was like she was saying, “You got this. Keep putting Jesus first. He is in control and is using this all for your good. Trust the Lord.” “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” - Isaiah 65:24 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” - Proverbs 3:5 We don’t have a surgery date yet, but I’m so hopeful that this could bring healing to so many of Char’s struggles. Thank you, Lord, for leading us here. “He is faithful in all He does.” - Psalm 33:4
