Vibe coding ONLY works if you are already a developer and you understand system design.

the day a vibe coder can take an app, build it on bare infra and scale it to handle millions of users is the day i’m cooked

I’m here to tell you… Vibe Coding actually works. Don’t get discouraged by the static. I’ve built several projects since January 2025. 💪💪💪

I use Claude Desktop with MCP to do EVERYTHING. It does have access to ChatGPT and Gemini so its a committee not just Claude by itself. I use none of those tools and I vibe code every day.

Right, I have 30 years in ux/ui...not backend dev. So I LOVE that I can now "vibe code" but, I have a familiarity with the whole product team and lifespan for product. I cant imagine getting anywhere

As a vibe coder, I’ll say this tho: Bolt for frontend, Supabase for backend, and Netlify for deploy is a cheap, clean setup that just works for low-code, small-scale projects

are there any jobs for this? I'm a ux designer but I definitely prototype a lot using these kind of tools. But it seems like they don't really valuable in the job market

I vibe code my web apps in Flask, jinja templates, HTMX, and CSS. No JavaScript. If you never let it write JavaScript you won't open your door to the chaos.

i think what this meme is actually referencing is that a lot of companies have started making cursor copycat “vibe-coding” tools. firebase studio, canva code, etc
