Idk my wired headphones lasted maximum upto a year and then the wire got damaged somehow. My first gen airpods lasted me 5 years. I now am using JBL bluetooth earphones

Cabled headphones have way better microphones and sometimes better sound quality as well. Ive had the same pair of beats studio buds since 2021, a bit rundown after i dropped them in a pool a year ago but still working and im using them until they are dead. They have survived COUNTLESS moments where they should definitely have died/ given up but nope still going strong. I tho agree on wireless headphones being made with planned obsolescence in mind, but most things are as well today sadly.

It's not a difficult solution, make each part of the equation replaceable independently, and make the batteries in each of the 3 parts user replaceable. But then why would you buy another?
