I hope a judge steps in to save the FDIC. They are trying to get rid of at least 1,250 soon. The FDIC currently employees 6,200 people, with a RIF by May 13 if not enough go.

If offered a severance of one years pay, would it be better financially to wait to receive a rif notice? I am 62. I have completed the calculator on the rif page and it pretty much comes out the same
