@abc7chicago: A giant obelisk in Buenos Aires lit up on Monday, April 21, to honor Pope Francis in his native city, after the Vatican announced his death earlier that day. An image of the Pope and the phrase “Pray for me” were projected onto the sides of the Argentine landmark as it lit up in tribute. “From the city where he grew up, we want to remember him as he chose to live: committed to others, attentive to those who need him most, firm in the face of injustice and generous in his words,” the City of Buenos Aires wrote.
