This is not theoretical…. As a teenager I legit used to take naps on the con floor and my friends would have to keep watch cause ppl wanting pictures was the least weird thing people would do: also I legit fainted once at a con cause of my heart condition and half the people thought I was acting and wanted pictures and the other half refused to help and some actually stepped on me while my friends tried to drag my unconscious body off to the side. Like people at cons have zero awareness

I haven't cosplayed at a con yet but I usually do like sfx makeup and the amount of people ESPECIALLY ADULTS that take pictures of me without asking is like good lord, like I don't rlly mind but I'd very much rather be yk spoken to😭
