From what was shown I don’t see why Brit went so hard at him here, she knew he was packing to leave for treatment. Why start with the don’t kiss their son thing and then follow him up stairs when he wanted space. Seems like that would be the time to fake a smile till he was in treatment and deal with issues when he has sobriety and professionals to help.
