Chronic afib needs more than nitro.. hopefully they’ll put him on an anticoagulant so he doesn’t clot.. also, pulmonary rehab is a good option that will help with those lung volumes and diaphragm issu

I had AF and it isn’t pleasant, but an ablation sorted it out last September. No issues since and off all my meds except for anti-coagulants. Your dad will get the treatment he needs and be good.

My husband had ablation for a fib. The second one gave him his health back. Scary for sure, but there have been so many advances in treatment. Best of luck.

I have a cardio problem. One of my aortas are too small and I see a cardiologist too, and I have just pain every single day and he won’t put me on any medicine because he can’t risk it.

My dad has been in afib for a long time. He has been on blood thinners and just had a shock yesterday to put his heart back into rhythm! next step is them doing something to the nerves so he can get off the medication, we hope!
