It’s not being taught. It’s just shows up. If a book were to say “she prayed,” they aren’t teaching people to pray it’s just what happened in the book. Same as if a character had two dads.

I grew up not knowing what gay was until high school from friends and I turned out perfectly fine. Kids don't need to be "introduced" to this stuff.

What they teach should be up to the parent not the government? Public schools are funded by the government, teachers are government employees. If you want to decide what your kids learn, you get to do that by deciding to send them to private schools or homeschool them
