I got spiritfarer based on the hype and was pretty disappointed. The gameplay was not fun or interesting enough for me to keep playing. Felt like a waste of money

As someone who has been dealing with grief for a very long time, Spiritfarer was simply life-changing to me... It made me cry a lot and rethink my takes on the afterlife. Maybe the game is just not for everyone (and that's okay!). It hit me hard because I could see actual people in the characters and gave it a long time to get to know them...if you play it slow you get to enjoy it way more 💕

I didnt Connect with animal crossing, i dont know why, i think it’s just a slow game, like really slow! I never played it when younger, i tried the first time at 24, and just didnt pick it up again

I think the other AC games were amazing, I first played Wild World in 2006. But new horizons is 100% overhyped, it's the worst installment in the entire series

Spiritfarer can be difficult to connect to for a lot of people. I work as an ICU nurse doing a lot of palliative care, and I play it about once a year, cry the whole way through and find it really reflective. But this is not a typical experience for a lot of people and I understand why the game might not resonate to people with different life experiences.
