YES. People don’t use common sense anymore. People are literally walking out of Sinners for example cause they “didn’t know” it was gonna be like that

Also there is MULTIPLE websites that will list full on trigger warnings for movies like DoesTheDogDie !! If ppl actually cared about their triggers they WOULD do research

The rating system is very different from trigger warnings. I would concede that it is personal responsibility to look up personal triggers. I do this all the time for books and shows.

There literally are trigger warnings. It’s in the rating. For example it will specify R for sexual violence

i would love more consistency in seizure warnings. Especially for trailers. Captain America 4 gave my wife a seizure and we had stop going to the theater while that trailer was running.

It’s there on CDs too, with the Explicit Warning stickers, and even on digital songs, it’s usually tagged with an “E”. Idk why so many people don’t think media doesn’t have content/trigger warnings.

adding an extra warning doesnt harm you, youll make more ppl appreciative by doin such a small thing. we really do appreciate when u take the time to do it, so please keep that in mind too.

I will say, I wish that rating system warning breakdowns had specific mentions of things to do with animals. That would be very helpful.

We have ratings and also various other resources that have both general and detailed trigger warnings. Bare minimum research is all you need.

The rating system seems to be geared towards religious morals like smoking, drinking, swearing, and nudity. I want one that is for neurodivergent sensitivities, trauma, emotions, and phobias.

There are also websites like common sense media that go into further detail about what to expect such as cursing violence nudity etc.

The rating system is not adequate, and not really a warning. Certain subjects (such as r&p$) fall under nudity or sexual content, but doesn’t warn for people wh have such trauma.
