@calisthenicswkay: Taking breaks from the gym can be HARD. And you know what’s even harder? Trying to pick up exactly where you left off 😅 But, with anything gym related, you have to give yourself time to bounce back to the strength level it once was. I was pretty upset with myself because I didn’t think I’d be able to do a puppy press today even though I was able to last month. But I took a break, took a minute to focus and get my mental right, and on attempt number 10 I was able to finally get my legs up and over. Immediately I felt relieved, and silly that I let myself get frustrated in the first place. When you come back from a break, no matter the duration, you will obviously feel weaker than you did. But if you’ve already had these skills/bodyweight prior, it will be a lot easier to get back to what you were! Just gotta get back to being consistent and everything else will fall into place. Give yourself time, be patient, you’ll come back stronger than ever ☺️💪🏽 #calisthenics #handstand
