@bob_loves_tech: I can't believe it's taken me that long to finally get it up and running. I am so happy that I've now got iVentoy up and running successfully. Crazy #optiplex #techtok #techtoktips #proxmox #homelab

i know i can set boot on usb pen with ventoy, and then just copy IDOs there.
But i wonder how you created an image that does the same? (boot ventoy snd listing isos)

this is cool, I didn't know there was a docker container for this. I have pxe booting on a windows 2019 VM on my esxi host. pxe boot to windows workstation/server OSs, Linux and acronis true image

how did you stop stuff that connects to the network from trying to auto connect or boot from iventoy lol. is there a way to set it to have opnsense not automatically give out iventoy and only be able to set things to use it manually

didn't realise you need to do anything at router level for network boot

you can just upload the iso to proxmox and have the same result without the lan boot vm

This looks awesome! I have Ventoy on my keyring but Ventoy PXE is a killer app. And it's cheap as chips for the commercial version.

iVentoy is good for running any OS with public computers. They never configure computers to disable PXE boot, so Raspberry Pi, running from a powerbank and LAN cable is all needed to get in.
