The Veil is easily the best brewery in VA. Aslin has taken a nosedive in recent years with increasing production. Their stouts are still great though.

Aslins just down the road from me. there are a lot of good breweries in this area, Lost Rhino, Solace, Fair Winds, and Port City.

if you ever make it to Staunton VA you need to try the Moriarty from Redbeard Brewing. releases every Black Friday and it's the only stout I enjoy. incredible stuff
