Are you serious? I graduated in 2020. Didn’t have to pay right away and had an income based payment plan. They took that away! Automatically put us in default n our credit scores just dropped 70pts

Garnishment of poor people's wages for chasing an higher education is ridiculous. We were told to do so. but it's now just a plaque on the wall and crippling debt none of the positions pay what's fair

the biggest issue with student loans is the interest so no matter how much we pay back the high interest wipes it out

I helped my sister and brother with the paperwork for student loans its not a quick process your told interest rate how much you will be paying back to the penny and you won't be able Bankruptcy

there's literally loan counseling mandated before you take out the loans. did people not read the contracts they signed? I took out student loans and I know this. you have options though

housing loans should be forgiven before student loans. the house is guaranteed to be used, the degree... not so much.

I agree they should’ve been paying their debt. But couldn’t they have waited until the economy was doing better, people have no money and are buried in credit card debt.
