12 month to train & inform teachers of what the new subject looks like, how it will be assessed, when assessments will take place to not overload students, how cheating with AI can be prevented etc!🙄

Also teachers have an issue with the fact that AI is going to do these 40% projects for a lot of students. there is a fear that future generations won't be properly educated because of this

The problem is the integrity of such a high stakes exam. Everybody thinks they are an expert on teaching because we have all experienced school. As always the media talk with authority on teachers

The problem is that Tommy will be able to afford outside help for his kids doing the 40%....so not a level playing field for the majority of LC students in Ireland

The majority of exams have an assessment already 20-40% in the bag , bar English , Maths and the Sciences . The Department are rushing this in … all for change but they dumbed down the JC - same again

The leaving cert absolutely has to be reformed. But college isn’t a big change in terms of assessment. You have more CA in college but in most courses, the end of year exam for each modul is worth 70%

Our school has 3 computer rooms with 25/28 computers to share between 1000+students- we do not have the resources needed for assignments to be researched & typed. I stand with teachers on this one!

Please read the curriculum changes, use of AI, on top of students with additional needs and the introduction of senior cycle L2LP. We want to do the best for students. Tommy- H1s are the bell curve

My kids has had 14 different teachers and his only in 4th class. That's including the covid break. Never have i seen a school like it. They are so lazy in it. Homework not corrected etc also

When the research/training isn’t done, then you’re not prepared and make mistakes. Kind of like not researching before and interview and having a “10 siblings,” moment. Always better to be prepared

Every student in the country would need a school iPad for all the assessments. Shared iPads at the moment for CBA s in JC and we are very short. 90 at the moment for 400 students
