It takes +6 months to get diagnose with a mental health disorder and they don’t just give you pills. The real problem is that mental health can’t be fixed with drugs and our brains are too delicate

My mom is psychiatrists herself and she wants me to take concerta or Ritalin everyday but when I take it it makes me feel depressed and sad so is rather be happy and goofy rather than sad

Yes drugs are overprescribed, but it’s not all on the doctors. Doctors only can see the patients for 10-15 min at a time and cant know everything. The onus is on parents to know thier child.
