@detroit75kitchen: Here are 3 easy ways to open up a stubborn jar. 1. Double Squeeze Interlace your fingers and use the heels of your hands to apply pressure to either side of your jar lid. Once you hear a little pop of the air releasing, your jar will open easily. 2. Use a Spoon Insert the tip of a spoon under the lip of your jar lid, and apply pressure to release a little air from the seal. The lid should be really easy to open after that. 3. Tap the Lid Carefully tap the edge of the jar lid on your counter all the way around the circumference. Just don't hit it too hard— you're not looking to dent anything.
