Short, little video before I walk into a client meeting this morning. This is one of the only formal shirts I own that still “fit” me, meaning it can “button,” but requires an undershirt so my gut doesn’t hang out the bottom. After putting on 130 pounds and a 68-inch belly in the last year at only 32, I have to make due, as no off-the-rack shirts (even from Big & Tall stores) fit my unusual proportions. Clothes have been one of the biggest struggles at this size, and I’m down to a handful of formal shirts. I’m required to wear button-down shirts at work and especially for meetings, even though I’ve explained to them many times that bigger sweaters or thermal shirts might be more presentable considering my dilemma.
