Our mom as well , without going down much of the rabbit hole….she called me 600 miles away and taken her own cocktail of meds she tried to throw it all away and called me and the courts stepped in

I’m going through that at the present time my mom is my best friend. I have no siblings. All I have is my mom and she has dementia and in a nursing home.😢 It’s very hard

My dad has dementia, just be present in her life. Keep talking to her, remember she isn't the person she was. My relationship has gotten better with my dad, I have learn patience and how to listen. 🇨🇦
