Biker here. A lot of times the extra noise is a safety thing. 4wheels don’t pay attention to bikes a lot of the time. When that happens we die. Real bikers make extra noise to bee seen.

as a passenger rider who been hit and broke my back T4-T11 yes yes yes. rev when we see every car to alarm them that hey we are here, bikes get in blind spots so easily and people already don't know how to drive

Motorcycles should NOT be legal. Horribly unsafe for the rider, obnoxious, and riders blame us for their choice to ride them.

you don't want to stall the bike, so you do need to give it throttle. now as for the loudness, that's the exhaust they put on.

🔥YES🔥....100% Nescessary when slowing down or coming to a stop. It's called blipping and it's a way we rev match engine speed and wheel speed to make it easier on our engines. It also helps us slow down using our engine braking. But the revving is also a safety precaution to get the cagers off their phones to bring their attention back to the road for our SAFETY.

I have very high anxiety and when I'm driving and they do that when they're starting back up or they're coming alongside of me it affects my driving and when I'm at home and they pass by my house

I have 3 neighbors w/bikes & they rev those things every morning when they leave for work...at 630am! 😳😡🤬 They also work on them every Sunday morning. Sounds like I live at a Harley Davison factory

there is a decibal law here in Pennsylvania 86 db for under 35 miles a hour and 88 decibels for over 35 mph on soft idle on a hard idle its 98 over 36 mph only but police don't enforce it

It’s a Safety thing believe it or not the slower cars go the more dangerous. They are think about it. How many times have you switched the lanes at the last second to gain one car spot? Or open your car door to spit something out or to open your door cause you drop something that’s why we do it.
