I’m a RN. And I got a good gig cause I work 3-4 days a week and have off the other days. So very demanding, but good perks too. Why can’t we say same about teaching without it getting defensive?

Right?! Every time someone tries to belittle my career I remind them that we have a literal shortage so if my job was cake, why aren’t there lines of people signing up?!

In NY State we are required to have a masters degree. What other profession requires you to work 10 months with a masters degree? Teachers have second and third jobs! WE ARE UNDERPAID PROFESSIONALS!
