Q-tip with alcohol or acetone or even just water should remove acrylic paint and not scratch the tiles like the knife did.

I would paint the back black as well to finish off the peice. It's a small detail but make a big difference.

I think the black one looks better then the white, the white grout makes the color of the tiles drained and the black grout makes the color pop.

Try some baby wipes on the tiles that still have some paint on it. I use them all the time to clean up paint

for future reference I'd recommend acetone on a q tip. should dissolve the paint but leave the glass untouched

Have you ever used a plastic razor blade to clean things? It would be way safer and easier to use in a project like this instead of an exacto knife! 😺
