🚨 JUST RESCUED – ABANDONED & LEFT CHAINED TO A FENCE 🚨 We received a heartbreaking message from one of our previous fosters when they saw a dog chained outside a senior living home, scared and alone. When they stopped to see if they could help him- the police showed up at the same time. Despite their pleas, the officers refused to release the dog to a rescue and said they’d take him to animal control. But that’s not what happened. When our foster circled back after her work break, the officers were gone — and the dog was still chained to the fence- abandoned for a second time. It’s appalling. How could this be the outcome? He was left trembling, confused, and devastated. We couldn’t let him stay there overnight in the cold so we went and secured him. We’ve named him Snoopy. Snoopy spirit is crushed and he is in pain. We believe he was hit by a car or he may have spinal degeneration. His back end is clearly painful when walking. We will begin diagnostics with our vets to determine what’s going on with him.
