I don't see a problem with that woman calling someone to check the situation. She doesn't know this man or his dog, and she's walking there with little kids. I'd be concerned too.

not being rude. just an observation from someone with a son who has a dog phobia and also has been attacked by a dog minding its own business before. neither myself or my son would EVER walk past your lawn with a dog WE dont know (particularly one that big) sitting 6 feet from the footpath unfenced. not a chance in hell! that's a poor decision to make for anyone who isnt familiar with that dog.

I love dogs..But not a single dog in the world should be with no leash in a yard without fence..Simple as that..U never knoe what can trigger a dog..Imagine a kid running away from parents on a side walk and the kid touches the dog in a wrong place..U are responsible for that boss..I admire your dog how well behaved he is but u never know what can happen..
