Today makes it 7 years since my dad died still yet I can’t believe it I can’t even ask God to heal me because what exactly is he healing, you heal from things you want to move on from so you can love someone else the same way but I can’t that part of me died and was buried with him😭 Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers that are no more. may your love continue to mold us and strengthen us

When I lost my dad it destroyed me I drank socially but I was drinking daily to the point I would spew each day I ended up in an ambulance with alcohol poisoning and the day before the funeral I was told not to drink that morning because I would regret it and was told that if I was to turn up at his funeral I will regret it for the rest of my life I didn’t drink that day but it was hard not to and then not long after he died I moved home with my mum and she helped me so much
