I help my mum deal with my brother through first, head injuries and then addiction to the pain meds he was on. he got hurt more than once. I didn't like him at the time cos after head injuries he turned mean. not his fault. I helped put him in rehab 3x. clean 15yrs. we get on great now. But anything he wants a brutally honest opinion he comes to me. it was easier for me cos my mum was just so worried watching everything go from bad to worse. it's really hard helping an addict. no matter who they are to you. My mum never enabled him. That's how we found out about the IV drugs cos he couldn't afford it and he knew we wouldn't help. so off to rehab. proud of him
