Awesome fight scene but this can't be called Rapier vs Tonfa when you don't use any form of Rapier fighting style It would be like fighting with a fully loaded M1 grand and only using the Bayonet Not the actual use for the weapon

Thats not a rapier thats a saber. You can see the edge. Rapiers are more of a cone targeted for more of a precision strike.

if they are of equal skill and health i will go with the tonfa. rapier needs a sharpener edge thay woll blunt out agter eztended combat and i can imagine tonfa breaking the Rapier

el duelo es un poco más complicado, la tonfa buscará estar cerca y el rapier es muy rápida, a corto y mediano alcance, pienso que dependerá más de la agilidad de la tonfa y aplicar golpes extensivos a puntos débiles, de la rapier en el desgaste, rapier conserva mucha más energía y puede hacer laceraciones para reducir la velocidad y dar un golpe mortal

If tonfa user can parry the opening strike/close distance quick? It’s gonna be real hard for Rapier user to regain control. That said, historically, distance is one of the biggest advantages pretty much universally.
