My oldest son and his wife just had the 1st grand baby. My heart was not prepared to see him be an amazing dad. I cry every time. So proud but I see him as little.

Same and i kinda love it? Lol if you’re having a hard time, just remember when you’d cook a whole meal and A. Nobody would eat it or B. They’d bring home 5 friends and you didn’t eat. Helps me a lot.

My oldest daughter & her husband came over to make us dinner & when they left for their own house, my heart broke a bit. I realized they have a life of their own and I’m only a small part of it now.😭

I was just thinking this. I keep rewatching old videos of when my 13 yr old and 8 yr old were little. I realize I’m literally grieving those toddlers I loved, and who loved me so big. I miss them.
