![[ #VINESTAFF + #DOOMSEKKAR ] #phighting — yknow. this video was meant to be frame-by-frame animated, but i just HATED sketching the thing, so i ended up making it a tween anyway.. . i don’t have any soul-crushing angst today, because i’m mostly just pissed off, but if you’re wondering which team i’d pick for the phestival (i don’t play phighting because i REMEMBER my arsenal phase..) i’d pick comedy. i love both themes a lot though, it’s just that the yellow calls to me. . . i’ve only been back at school for a week and i already feel exhausted. i GENUINELY don’t know how or why, but that first week back was the MOST eventful week i think i’ve ever had, excluding exams. on monday there were scheduling conflicts which did nothing but annoy me, on tuesday i tripped UP the stairs, on wednesday i got caught in the rain trying to get to an orthodontist appointment on time + getting caught in a DIABOLICAL storm which ended up being the result of a tornado?? what the heck. why not. thursday was fine except for the part where i got zapped in the computer lab and on friday the library was closed (again) before school started so then i had to stand outside in 0-2 degree celsius weather (which, given this is western australia, i have NEVER in my LIFE seen before). and on saturday? i was HELLA artblocked until i decided to work on this video. . . seo’s fun facts and headcanons!! - i made it so that Ghostwalker and Vinestaff have similar hairstyles… not out of laziness (i mean, MAYBE out of laziness..) but because i’m enforcing the idea that Doomsekkar mistook Vine for GW when she broke free… - (hc) Doomsekkar used to have a garden full of various carnivorous and/or poisonous/toxic plants before her ‘banishment’. With no one left to care for it, the area she grew the plants in is now mostly overgrown and unkempt. - (hc) i headcanon that the watchers can ‘switch bodies’ with eachother if they felt like it since i hc their ACTUAL bodies are made of flame and their current forms/fleshbodies are just ones created by ghostwalker so they’d have like. a physical appearance that isnt just 🔥. i guess? —- not sure how much that matches pre-existing lore but it was a fun thought for me - do you know HOW MANY video/art ideas i had but couldn’t use the way i wanted to because the watchers + ghostwalker had to go ahead and NOT HAVE MOUTHS?? gw is even worse because i cant express SHIT on a face that is literally “(x x)”. and WOW. perhaps that’s the point. but STILL… drawing vinestaff and illumina was honestly my saving grace. i dont know how much more i could have drawn without being able to give characters facial expressions. .
