@jujumaoo: 🇵🇭 Molo Soup | Soups So Good It Can Cure Any Sickness Ep. 1 This soup is my take on the famous Molo Soup from Iloilo City, Philippines! My personal favorite soup of all time especially since the family of my wife has roots in iloilo and they prepare this often 🫶 INGREDIENTS: Soup Base - 3 tbsp oil - 10 cloves garlic, chopped - 1 pc red onion, chopped - 1.5 liters pork/chicken stock - pepper to taste - ½ - 1 tbsp patis/fish sauce - reserved shrimp heads Dumplings: - 70% ground pork - 30% prawns, peeled, deveined and chopped finely - (Optional) ¼ kg crab meat - ¼ cup chopped chives - 1 tbsp garlic powder - 1 tbsp onion powder - ¼ tsp pepper - ½ tsp salt - ¼ cup oyster sauce - 1 whole jicama, diced - 1 egg for binding - 2 dozen molo/dumpling wrappers Toppings: - chopped spring onions - Chive oil - Chili-garlic oil INSTRUCTIONS: - sauté shrimp heads in oil for around 4 mins and add chicken stock. allow to simmer for 5 mins and strain. - In a pot with hot oil, saute garlic and onion. Add shrimp/chicken stock then season with pepper and fish sauce. - Make the dumplings by mixing all the dumpling ingredients listed. Fill each wrapper with 1 tbsp of filling and fold into dumplings. - Bring stock to a boil and add dumplings. Simmer for 5 minutes until fully-cooked. #asmr #cookingasmr
