Pretzels, granola bars, gummies, fruit, applesauce are also great quick carb snacks to work with. Start with a small handful, half a bar, a couple gummies or pieces of dried fruit. Once you can do this consistently and have no discomfort, then have the full amount and work your way up to pairing multiple carb snacks together. The key here is starting small and being consistent.
