Losing a parent or grandparent is traumatic and scary, even if they are elderly. Patient’s families can seem annoying but it’s coming from a place of fear, devastation and grief.

Yes but can we also talk about providers who throw failure to thrive on quickly. My gma had several say she was close to death but she’s still kicking months later (and happily!)

This makes me so sad. I lost my grandmother end of January and my mom blames herself all the time. My grandma was 96. Even though she was full of life, she was still old. It’s just hard ya know?
