My players had a gun and decided to shoot a character point blank by sneaking around, the player got a 30 with their mods so I couldn’t exactly say no- and so one of my big evils got murdered in one shot because of a gun 😭

No cause I’m a campaign I play the warforged construct monk thing character dropped an anvil from his bag of holding on a very beaten up monster boss and then had the tower he was on collapse and killed the bad guy but somehow survived it?!? I feel oddly targeted with this video lmfao 😭

I remember I was hidden high up from a tree. We played homebrew so I was a Summoner with a circus theme. Summoned my elephant to fall on the enemy cartoon-style. Wiped all but one with 1hp 💀

I don't want to be that guy. but I don't think it would that much damage. a lot sure, but not enough to almost one shot a 350 hp enemy. if a hill giants squash attack is only like 6d6 plus 5 damage, then an anvil dropping is probably similar. unless we're going with rule of cool of course.

Ngl though— kinda the DM’s fault for somehow allowing them to lift an Anvil into the bag in the first place. Even if they use Reduce/Enlarge, it’s only reduced in weight by half, so it’s too heavy

Used Shape Stone to cut out a 5x5x5 ft cube of stone and drop it out of the ceiling 30 ft onto a boss. Minimum damage was more than their heath. And the nat 1 their reflex save to jump out of the way.

Struggling to figure out how this damage was calculated, few options I can think of is using fall damage, player falling on player or rockslide/collapsing roof rules, either way none do that much
