The thing is that you can afford to pay more money than the locals - which drives costs up for them… it’s not about how much you put back to the community (like tourists), but how prices are going up b/c they know you can pay more. Ex. Land costs more b/c foreigners can pay for it. Locals could before but now they can’t.
