I agree. Bella Ramsey is a fantastic actor but they way Ellie was written in this episode felt off. The jokey-ness between her and Dina took away from the impact of Joel’s death.

I think this is where I’m afraid it’s changing to much. The character in the game crashes out so much and sometimes can be annoying but here it’s just bland just another day type deal.

This actor for Ellie has no aura or conviction in her acting, this episode dropped the ball in so many ways. From the time jump, to everybody being so relaxed w Joel’s death. Just bad imo
