Please save yourself the time of typing how myself and my family are going to die by drinking raw milk…we’re just fine…I can assure you of that. If you’re wanting to snag some raw milk check out some facebook groups and ask them if they know anyone around you. We’ve been getting raw milk from a wonderful lady a few miles away from us in exchange for some sourdough bread. I didn’t think I’d love it as much as I do, but it’s the best stuff ever! If you want to make homemade yogurt just what your flaw milk up to 180°F. Then cool it back down on the counter to 110°F. Then, the easiest way to get the yogurt culture is to just use some plain Greek yogurt and mix it into your cooled milk. Mix in about 1 tbsp of plain Greek yogurt per quart of milk. What works best is to mix the yogurt into a small bit of milk first, then add that mixture into your milk and stir it together. Cover it and place it into the oven with the light on for 12 hours. After about 12 hours you can put it into the fridge and then enjoy!
