Put holes around the brim of the can with a nail & then the paint will go back in the can instead of sit in the rim n make a mess

If anyone tries this you have to use a bonding primer first, Sherwin Williams makes a very good one.

If this doesn’t work out have you seen the epoxy countertops? My dad painted some old countertops and so far it’s holding up it’s year 3 I believe. They look really good too.

Drill two holes in the rim of the paint can so all paint drains back into the can and you don’t have to worry much about mess or drippings when you close it.

buy some butcher block counter tops from marketplace . or epoxy the countertops . that paint isn't going to last.
