If only I could tell her she’s gonna be the most talented person like… EVER. ✨✨ ——————-——————-———————— In late 2019, I was forced to be a makeup artist by my cousin who REFUSED to put money in someone else’s pocket for his girlfriend’s prom glam. I literally beggeddd him to leave me alone 😂😂😂 like…just NO! He wouldn’t leave me aloneeee about it!’ I was soooo annoyed! (Thanks Cousin!) I tried the doing someone’s makeup thing and it was a disaster so I was notttt trying that again. + I’m not really sure how I convinced myself I couldn’t become a makeup artist when I loved makeup my ENTIRE life and was doing eyeshadow looks on myself that kept going viral. I was so scared to not only start but to start at prom season 😭😭😭 I started at the basement of the art museum down the street from my house and before every client, I’d pretend to go use the bathroom when really, I’d be in the bathroom praying 🫠 I’d ask God not to let me mess up and to please let me do a good job. I’d literally be praying for 15 minutes so I think it’s safe to say client’s probably thought I was….yeah😂🚽 but anyways! A small self growth that I don’t share is that I went from having butterflies, praying I’d do okay, and procrastinating out of fear to starting right away confidently KNOWING I’m gonna eat a glam up! That’s huge to and for me! 🥹💕💕 anyways… I wish I could tell that scared girl from 2019 that she’s gonna be AMAZING!! That people are gonna fly from across the country to experience her. That she’s gonna bloom gracefully and become unstoppable. Also, that I appreciate her for helping me 🥹✨ I couldn’t have done it without her.
